Marty and Alexis Magill successfully turned around the struggling Quincy’s of Gaithersburg after purchasing it in 2008. After several years of double digit growth, the Magill family purchased a second location in Bethesda in 2014.
Quincy’s target market includes a variety of clientele, including families, professionals, retirees and friends out on a Saturday night.
Quincy’s strives to be a true neighborhood bar and restaurant – a place where the staff and owners know customers personally and treat them like family. Locals have nicknamed Quincy’s the “Q.”

Quincy’s goes above and beyond typical sports bar grub. Quincy’s kitchen leadership makes everything from scratch – from corned beef to salad dressings. They develop outstanding daily specials such as braised lamb shanks, shrimp etouffée, yellow curry chicken, and tuna ceviche.
Even Quincy’s standard menu items are exceptional. Burgers are made with a custom blend of ground beef and short rib. Subs are enveloped in Rando’s famous rolls imported direct from Atlantic City.

Quincy’s is first and foremost a neighborhood bar and restaurant. Quincy’s prides itself on being an integral part of the community and demonstrates neighborhood support in various ways. Quincy’s hosts and participates in many fundraisers, sponsors high school clubs and teams, and supports local school programs. Owners can frequently be found on the floor of one of their restaurants – greeting customers, making sure that everyone is happy, and strengthening community ties.
Quincy’s is well known for its wide selection of local, high-quality, craft brews. The restaurant also offers several house wines and suggests wine pairings to complement entrees. Quincy’s offers extended happy hours daily. A diverse group of patrons, from professionals to retirees, keep the bar busy all day, every day.
